Why the tool appears in Software Center as purchasable, when it is actually free, is not clear. In any case, if you are not comfortable going through the payment process (to end up not paying anything), you can always install the tool directly from the manufacturer's website.
Downloading and Installing
In its download area, the manufacturer provides complete 32/64-bit DEB packages for Debian or Ubuntu for version 2.6.7, whereas the apt repository already has version 2.8.6.
The choice for this test, therefore, boiled down to choosing the quickest version to integrate via the command line. The lines in Listing 1 import the repository and the associated PGP key. A source code update is subsequently required to prepare the software.

YouTube to MP3 is based on Qt 4.8.3 and uses ffmpeg, libmp3lame0, and libavcodec-extra53. How the manufacturer intended to peddle the paid version became clear after starting it for the first time with Ubuntu 13.04. With Ubuntu Web Apps, Dash first takes you to the manufacturer's website for either outright purchase or a trial version with a license code (Figure 2).

In the second attempt, the version from the manufacturer's repository came back again, but this time for Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10. However, you can ignore all this because the program works fine in its free version. Intentionally or not, the manufacturer is avoiding using the methods of payment implemented in the USC or Ubuntu Web Apps for some reason.
Operation
YouTube to MP3 works as a downloader and converter. Android on ipod. It provides several ways to add the URL of a desired track. The simplest way is by drag and drop from the YouTube window to the 'drag here' area of the tool (Figure 3).

The software checks the link and shows the video's title. Alternatively, you can use the familiar keyboard shortcuts to copy from the clipboard and clicking the Add URL icon.

The conversion progresses automatically and the output files appear in your home directory in Music/Downloads by MediaHuman. Nothing more needs to be done, the program's obvious primary goal is downloading and converting without further configuration.
Certain Extras
A few other options are worth playing around with, however. Among other things, the application provides a batch processing function for converting any number of videos in one go. Select the option Add multiple URLs from the settings menu.
If you want to apply individual tags to the MP3 files before conversion, click Preferences and go to the Tags tab.
On the Music tab, you can set the target format. The program also supports OGG and M4A container formats, in addition to MP3. The Original M4A option turns off conversion completely. You can set the targeted bit rate or quality level on the same tab. 9 11 film 2017 online.

Conclusion
YouTube to MP3 belongs to the pleasant variety of software that excels without much fanfare. The program does what's expected and doesn't overwhelm the user with countless parameters. Somewhat disconcerting, however, is the manufacturer's all too close connection with Canonical and YouTube. The partnership might make the installation (and payment) easier under Ubuntu, but the program would make just as good an impression under openSUSE or Fedora. l

The main window is quite easy and understandable . The upper tool bar is to Add, Remove , Clear ,Play ,Preview & to Convert the video selected by user with the Add button. On the Right side of main toolbar a button with value 'Options' is to enable extra options

Installation-sudo apt-get install winff

Start / Run / Execute- from menu , or from terminal - winff and press Enter key.

Presets-presets are the sets of command line arguments for 'ffmpeg' ( A Hyper fast Audio and Video encoder ). you can select from variety of presets those come built-in with the program according to your needs. 

Custom Presets-The program also supply a feature with which you can add you own presets according to your own need ( Like you want convert a video or audio for a device which is not listed in the list of Built-in Presets .Ex- Want convert a video for your Device (say NOKIA 2700c etc) having low resolutions ,supporting low video bit-Rate audio sample rate frequency etc.)

Add custom Preset - This program supply two ways to add custom presets-
 1- From the Option Button on right side of the main toolbar. 
 2- From the Edit option in the main menu of window.

In method 2 -Specify preset name -Preset label -Preset Command line Parameters (you can leave it empty if you don't know what to write here )
command line parameter are sets of commands those have to be executed while converting the specified media , alternately you can do the same while going through the method 1. Ultimately you have to select the output file extension without Dot (.). you can also categorise you custom preset in the above listed categories. 
NOTE: if you are getting any kind of error while conversion you can add this line to the command line parameters of your custom preset
' -strict experimental 'without quotations.
Now add your media select from presets ( if you had specified all command line arguments for your preset then no need to click on option button right on the main toolbar and if you didn't supplied any arguments like resolution ,bitrate frame rate etc in command line arguments of your preset then go with method 1-) Press option key and specify custom settings like video bitrate , frame rate etc. and press convert . a ffmpeg terminal window will open and will show the progress.

EXAMPLE- Converting a video for Nokia 2700c-
1- Create a preset with output file extension mp4/ 3gp.
2- Add video file .

5- Go to video tab , fill those forms as follow -
 Video Bitrate = 205 ( this video bitrate is best for nokia 2700c , remember this entity is responsible for the size of video ) 
 Frame Rate = 15 ( frame rate referred to the no. of video frame to be processed by your device)
 Video Size = 320 x 240 ( Screen Resolution or size of screen of the device)
 Aspect Ratio = 1.3 ( this is the aspect ratio of your nokia 2700c device screen )
6- Go to Audio tab and fill forms as follow -
 Audio Bitrate =128 (mp3 Quality Sound . you can change it to minimize the size of the audio for your video)
 Sample rate = 48000 (sample rate is measured in hz here so here we used 48 kilohertz you can change it to some specific values like 41000 
 Audio Channels = 2 (no. of audio channels here we specified 2 means stereo sound , you can change it to 1 which mean you will get mono audio sound quality)

get half the volume of audio of the source file. )
